Hokes Bluff beats Sand Rock 6-2

SAND ROCK — Hokes Bluff improved to 3-0 on the year with a 6-2 win over Sand Rock on Monday.

Mallory Belyeu earned the win, striking out 11 in the complete-game effort.

Carlie Shields and Kendall Sloan both went 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI. Shields had a triple. Lark Cole went 2 for 3 with two stolen bases, Katelyn Payne went 2 for 4 with a double, Emma Walker went 1 for 4 with a triple and two RBI, Sydney Ball went 1 for 3 and Maddie Jenkins added an RBI.

Hokes Bluff travels to Glencoe today.
